Prior to relocating to Hawaii almost eight years ago, Yvonne was a practicing transactional attorney, for 14 years, in San Francisco. As legal counsel to one of the nation's largest banks, as well as having counseled dot-coms and large corporations regarding technology and intellectual property, she was relied upon by CEOs and executive staff for their most important business decisions. That knowledge followed her into her real estate career, where she uses her contracting and negotiation skills, to ensure that every detail of a your transaction is expertly handled. This experience and knowledge applies particularly well in difficult transactions involving easements, trusts, encroachments, leasehold properties, and other legal matters, and in the areas of short sales and distressed properties. Yvonne is an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) a REALTOR with advanced trainingin representing Buyers' interests, including the ethical handling of dual agency. Yvonne has also earned the National Association of REALTORS e-PRO Certification and uses technology to provide her clients with thorough market information and excellent communication. When selling homes, Yvonne's listing clients also benefit from her expertise in internet marketing. Yvonne is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS), and Member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing's Million Dollar Guild, based on her success with listing and representing buyers of high-end homes, and has received special advanced training on these topics.. Yvonne was raised in Arizona, where she attended the University of Arizona for both college and law school. After graduation, she settled in San Francisco and built a successful legal career. Her love for the islands developed from a Maui sabbatical in 1997, which she spent writing a book on Intranet design and windsurfing. Having also lived in San Diego and Portland, Oregon, Yvonne understands and identifies with both West Coast and Hawaiian living. This helps her clients with both the adjustment to island life and with attaining of the lifestyle they desire in Hawaii. She is a Member of the Kailua Chamber of Commerce and participates in numerous volunteer activities, with leadership roles and earning service awards. A proud military wife, her family includes her husband, an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, who is currently deployed to Afghanistan, a young son and a cat named Moxie.
