Laulima -
The Laulima subdivision is mostly golf course-frontage neighborhood of homes built in 1987, between Sandy Beach and Kalama Valley, and located to the South of Kealahou St (even-numbered blocks). It includes Kipukai Pl, Kuanalu Pl, Holokai Pl.

Na pali Haweo -
An East Hawaii-Kai neighborhood of custom homes, built after 1991, winding uphill from Maunanani St on the higher part of Kamehame Dr and its offshoot streets (above the Kamehame Ridge neighborhood). It is located Northeast of the Kokohead Crater and many homes have spectacular ocean and crater views. Lot size usually runs between 10K-14K sq ft, with some much larger exceptions. Most homes are between 2K-4K sq ft, again with some larger exceptions. Prices start around $1.3M and most go up to about $2.5M. 

Queen's Gate -
This neighborhood, located between Sandy Beach Park and Kalama Valley, includes homes on the North, odd-numbered (200-300 blocks) side of Kealahou Street, as well as those in the Queen's Gate gated community. The homes on Kealahou were built 1979-80, and all have Hawaii Kai Golf Course frontage. Lot size ranges from 9,700 to 11,400 sqft, and home size is mostly 1,900-2,500 sq ft.

Queen's Gate was built in 1979 and is a lovely gated community of golf course-frontage homes, on the Hawaii Kai Golf Course. Ammenities include tennis courts, raquetball courts and a recreation center. There are two sections, QG 1 and QG 2, and QG 1 is to the North, entering on Kalohalani Pl, and QG 2 is South, entering on Makaaoa St. Original floor-plan square footage on these units is between 1900-2000 sq ft, but some homes have been added to and are larger. Prices generally range from about $900K to $1.4M. Lot size varies from 6K to 8.5K sqft (with a few larger, pricier exceptions).
